Sport and Development in its simplest form means the use of sport as a tool for development.
The Jungle Crows started out as a rugby club, set-up by a small group of people living in Calcutta with the simple aim of organising some rugby. The game was already played in Calcutta and the Crows was just a small idea to have some fun. As the club grew and more and more young people got involved the rugby club transformed into the Jungle Crows Foundation and the idea of child and youth development through sport was focused through Khelo Rugby.
Today much is written on Sport and Development and many many organisations use this model to make a difference around the world.
We use this blog to talk about our work, tell the stories of those that we have shared our journey with and raise awareness of some of the issues we work on.
